Hello Bob,

cheers for your respond to my question. It was helpful in then far that I learned how to utilize the Microsoft update feature . In that location is plainly a difference between the US an the European market place. The latest update I got was 12.3.six.

The problem with WORD however nevertheless persists. WORD stops working when I select the drawing-symbols; all other symbols work fine.

This may remedy the state of affairs (I'm assuming you meant View> Toolbars> Cartoon?);

1. Go to View> Customize Toolbars & Menus
2. On the Toolbars & Menus page, click the name of the Drawing toolbar
3. Click the Reset button
4. Click OK
5. Quit Give-and-take -- If prompted to save changes to Normal.dotm template click OK then meet if things are better when you launch the programme

Merely, going through your procedure WORD stops reacting already when I try to select "Cartoon" in your pace two.

When going through "Font Weeding" I get the reply "no duplicates found".
